Measure 28 has been removed from FaSS as support for infrastructure for the commercial catching sector to make port improvements is provided through the UK Seafood Fund (UKSF). Funding in UKSF is available on a first come first served basis to ports, and businesses directly supporting the catching sector and located on port grounds. The minimum grant available is £150,000. For more details and to apply please check the webpages online at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/infrastructure-scheme-round-3-port-improvement-application

All vehicle related projects should be submitted under Measure 16 ‘Improving the value and quality of fisheries products’. If you are applying for a vehicle, you must contact the Grants Team to discuss in the first instance. Please note that under Measure M16 for projects relating to the purchase of commercial vehicles, such as but not limited to pickup trucks, flatbed trucks etc, the maximum rate of grant funding that applicants can receive is capped at 20% of the total project costs. Refrigerated vans can be funded at the regular rate.
